Sunday’s Action

The Boston Beaneaters, Dirigo BBC of Maine and a group of Mixed Players from the EBBO took to the field this past Sunday with the following results.

Game 1 – The mixed nine of the EBBO defeated the Boston Beaneaters 4-2 behind the strong pitching of Ralph Hebb who had a shutout until two outs in the ninth.

Game 2 – Dirigo defeated the Boston Beaneaters

Game 3 – Seesaw battle.  Dirigo scored 4 in the 6th and made it hold up for a 10-8 win over EBBO.

Wrap Up of Music Festival

In yesterdays games the Newburyport Clamdiggers defeated the Lowell Nine in both of their games and the Rockinghams won both of their games over the Lynn Live Oaks 25-13 and 11-10 in 10 innings. These teams square off again in the championship next Sunday October 4th. 10am Newburyport Clamdiggers vs. Lowell Nine, 11:45 Lynn Live Oaks vs. Portsmouth Rockinghams, 115 Winners play in championship.

Back to action

After a few weeks off all four teams will be back to action this Saturday as part of Ipswich Ale’s annual Harvestfest.  The games will start at 10am with games one and two featuring the Newburyport Clamdiggers and Portsmouth Rockinghams.  Games 3 and 4 will be between the Lowell Nine and Lynn Live Oaks. Come enjoy some great games and great beer.
