Essex Returns To Town…. How To Make A Baseball

Press Release for July 21st  

Come join the Essex Base Ball Club as they return to the area on Saturday July 21st to take on the Waterbury Connors of Waterbury, CT at 12pm at Greater Lawrence Technical High School in Andover, MA.  The two clubs will square off in two exhibitions of 1861 base ball (two words back then), then after the games the players will allow kids of all ages to swing a bat and take a run around the bases.  The event is being sponsored by the Andover Historical Society, admission is free but donations will be welcome.  Come enjoy the day.

Directions FROM THE NORTH
Take Route
93 South to Exit 45 (River Road). At the top of the ramp, turn right. Proceed on River Road for approximately ¼ (one quarter) of a mile; at the third traffic light, turn left into the school driveway and parking lot area.

FROM THE SOUTH
Take Route
93 North to Exit 45 (River Road). At top of the ramp, turn left onto River Road. Proceed on River Road for approximately ¼ (one quarter) of a mile; at the second traffic light, turn left into the school driveway and parking lot area.
